What’s Get(ting) Elated?
Hi! I’m Ariel; a neuroscientist by training with a stubborn belief that everyone should feel like the expert of their own body.
For me, ‘getting elated’ is just that— the result of knowing your body’s unique ins and outs and using them to feel your best.
While it took me years in school, lab, and living out different life experiences to cultivate this knowledge, I want it to to take you minutes (or however long it takes you to read an article).
Think of me as a professional you have in your (figurative) pocket; a committed ‘forever student’ who has already taken deep dives into the realms of human nutrition (I’m a proud graduate of Columbia’s IHN and have my master’s), psychology, biophysics, and complementary health. I still have an insatiable appetite for learning the body’s deepest wisdom, and then empowering others with the bite-sized version of everything I learn along the way—making it digestible, both literally and figuratively ;).


That’s ultimately why I started this Substack—to provide people with the information I’ve gathered throughout my over-a-decade-long academic journey, so that YOU can use it to your benefit.
Expect weekly deep-dives into topics on food, mental health, holistic health, the microbiome, as well as practical applications and ‘ponderings’ on all things wellness—both ‘hot button’ and more benign.
